Reflection
 

I was hesitant to explore EduHelp because my competitors are so established but after research, I realized they were all missing key elements that Student Service teachers required to make their daily work more manageable. In addition to this, I found the market to be attractive to any investor because this venture could provide investment opportunities that may provide huge returns in 5-7 years. I realized when creating my venture pitch that I was putting myself out there and it was not an easy thing to do.

I wanted to keep it short and to the point, now looking back I could have highlighted more than one thing that made me standout from my competitors in my video.

Although some may view a $1 000 000 ask for a venture that is starting out in one province as a big ask, I believe that the expert team driving this venture are professionals with experiences who work in the environment we are focused on. Paraprofessionals and teachers know what students and teachers need. Having this edge, I believe investors will be interested in investing in the expertise of the team.

Finally, this was a great learning experience, and I am willing to follow through with this, so I welcome all constructive criticism and will later update my reflection.
