MY PHILOSOPHY

I believe in helping all students I interact with to attain quality education! On a broader scale, I am motivated to support teachers with helpful tools and strategies so that together, we can provide an equitable and optimal learning experience for all students.

As a trained high school teacher I was inspired to explore the concept of Writers Help because of my transition to elementary school and special education training. I have always been a teacher who teaches reading and writing in the content area regardless if I am teaching Math, Science or History because elements of literacy (reading and writing) is at the core of the learning process.
In my quest to provide students with optimal learning opportunities I often encounter a variety of barriers. While there are resources available, the variability of learners is a reality and the time to search through resources is limited.
Through interaction with a number of primary and intermediate teachers who were also facing challenges to improve their learners writing, I thought there was a need for some transformation, hence the birth of the idea for Writers Help.
